Guided tour of the Château des Tours, whom an impressive mosaic, and various objects from Middle-Age.
Built between 1213 and 1218 by Archbishop Renaud de Forez, and inhabited continuously throughout the centuries, the Château des Tours is in perfect condition. It presents visitors with a very rare hourd, the oldest wooden medieval defensive element in France, as well as a Gallo-Roman museum bringing together objects found in the numerous excavations carried out in the commune. From the top of its keep, an exceptional view of the surroundings of Anse and the Saône Valley.
Free guided tours of the Château des Tours on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from March to mid-November.
