Denis Chastel Sauzet, owner of château Portier and the famous Moulin à Vent, will guide you with passion through stones, history, and senses; and you will have the pleasure of tasting wines and fruit juices. We welcome school group by prior reservation.
The walled Château Portier, with its shady plane-tree terraces and Burgundian glazed-tile towers, is a typical Beaujolais building. Built just a few yards from the famous Moulin à Vent, a 15th-century historic monument, Château Portier is an ideal venue for private and group events.
The château's vines grow on some of Southern Burgundy's most renowned terroirs, including Moulin à Vent, Fleurie, Chénas, Chiroubles, Juliénas, Beaujolais Village, Beaujolais and Saint Véran.
