Camping Le Nid du Parc****

Open from the beginning of April to the end of October the Camping Nid du Parc is a 4 star campsite situated on 5 tree lined hectares with 151 encampments just outside the town of Villars les Dombes about an hour’s drive from Lyon. Being so close to the town makes it handy for shops, services and restaurants in addition the campsite is located a stone’s throw from the Parc des Oiseaux and there are special discounts on admission prices available for the campsite’s guests. The Camping le Nid du Parc’s 148 encampments range in size from 100m² to 120m² and can accommodate up to 6 people and can cater for camping cars, tents and caravans. There also wooden caravans as well as canvas and wood tents available for hire that can accommodate groups of between 4 to 6 guests and group tents that can cater for groups of up to 12 people. Additionally there is a family room with board games and television, an area for playing boules, a laundrette, a playground a restaurant and freshly baked bread available on site. As well as being located near the Parc des Oiseaux the Camping le Nid de Parc is also only a short drive from other attractions in the Dombes region such as Pérouges and Châtillon-sur-Saône. The area around the campsite is also a great place to enjoy other outdoor activities such as walking and cycling.
