This sector will take cyclists to the heart of Beaujolais. Straddling mountains and vineyards, the loops of sector 6 promise all cyclists to find what they are looking for, on loops that are both accessible and difficult.
Sporty side
Fairly accessible route despite the distance. 45 km alternating vineyards and forests, two small passes: Saint Bonnet and La Croix Montmain. The first 20 kilometres are up and the remaining 25 are down.
Pleasant ride on friendly and little used roads.
Tourism side
The “Country of Art and History" label crowns a perimeter of around fifty municipalities in the south of Beaujolais.
This distinction reveals the identity of a sector of Beaujolais through the globality and diversity of its heritage.
Along the roads, landscapes of hillside vineyards and villages steeped in history are revealed.
