1 route de Montclair
69480 Pommiers
A stroll through a 7-hectare park laid out around a 19th-century house on the crest of the first hill in the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées region.
The Domaine de Montclair opens its gates to garden lovers for a stroll through a romantic landscaped garden designed in 1884 by the ancestor of the current owners
- the long avenue of lime trees, between the vineyards and outbuildings, which opens out towards the setting sun
- the kitchen garden and its Dutch greenhouse, fully restored thanks to the Friends of Montclair association and the Heritage Foundation
- the Vicar’s Garden, designed for well-behaved children to play in
- the woodland, home to a variety of tree species, criss-crossed by paths leading to a belvedere offering a breathtaking panorama to the east: the Saône plain, the Monts d’Or to the south and, in fine weather, the majestic Alpine range and Mont Blanc
