The park is a ludic and educational garden about vine, to discover the specific features of viticulture in Beaujolais and its links with the “vitis” botanical diversity in the world.
This project, the only one of its kind in France, is the result of close collaboration between the Communauté de Communes Saône-Beaujolais, the Saint-Lager town council, the Espace des Brouilly, the Brouilly and Côte-de-Brouilly crus, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, Destination Beaujolais and the Syndicat Mixte du Beaujolais.
Located at the foot of Mont Brouilly, in the commune of Saint-Lager, the Clos Vitis is a themed garden. It offers a chance to discover winegrowing through a collection of vines from all over the world, some of which are at the origin of today's vineyards and others which will certainly have a role to play in the future.
