VIP discovery tour of Chiroubles.
We'll be leaving from the home of our host, winegrower Steeve Charvet, a young winemaker who has taken over the family business. Our route will take us along back roads and paths in and around the village.
We'll be strolling through Chiroubles-en-Beaujolais, which borders Fleurie and Villié-Morgon. We'll take to the vineyard paths (les chaintres) and small roads. Right in the middle of the vineyards, we'll take a gyro-pod up to the village and a magnificent panorama. After a long climb, you'll enjoy a view of the Madone de Fleurie mountain on your left, and Mont Brouilly on your right. Also in this beautiful landscape on the plain, depending on the weather, a panoramic view of the Alps, due east.
A little further on, the Monts du PY in Beaujolais. A typical Beaujolais wine-growing landscape.
Gyropod ride duration: approx. 2 h + tour and tasting
Each departure will be preceded by an introduction to the gyropod lasting +/- 1 hour.
A ride with little difficulty after initiation.
Accessible to anyone between 45 and 127 kg
