Located between Beaujolais and Burgundy within the village of Romanèche-Thorins and just about 20 kilometres from Mâcon, Hameau Duboeuf offers an invitation to travel in Beaujolais. Enjoy the thrill and excitement of retracing the history of Beaujolais wines in this museum and leisure park.
Together as a family?
You will not only love strolling through the garden and its rosalies, but you will also enjoy being guided through the vineyard grounds in the company of distinguished figures such as Paul Bocuse or Bernard Pivot! Don't forget to take a breathtaking flight over the Beaujolais vineyards! Older children can explore Bacchus' trails: an escape game in the heart of the Park!
Are you a wine enthusiast?
Hameau is also a source of knowledge such as information on Gamay and Chardonnay grape varieties, winemaking methods, the history of the AOC Beaujolais, geology and the land. The museum unveils the secrets of vineyards and wine through its many attractions, collections and 3D films. The new interactive show "Mon Beaujolais" tells the story of Toine, a Beaujolais winegrower. You' ll be taken on a journey into the history of the vineyards through images, visual and sound effects. At the end of the course you will have a chance to taste the wines: Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages, Brouilly, Chiroubles, Chénas, Côte de Brouilly, Fleurie, Juliénas, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent, Régnié, Saint-Amour. You will certainly find an appellation to your liking!
You can also eat at the Café des Deux Horloges in the heart of the station hall, where traditional dishes, Beaujolais specialities and Beaujolais wines are served.
